The Gum is commercially extracted (essentially through a mechanical process) from the seeds. First, the seed is broken and the germ is separated from the endosperm. Next, two endosperm halves are obtained from each seed and are known as underused Guar Splits. Finally, refined Guar Splits are obtained when the fine layer of fibrous material, which forms the husk, is removed and separated from the endosperm halves by polishing.
Guar Gum Split with its versatile inherent properties is used all over the globe with different utilities in many industries like Food, Pet Food, Pharma, Cosmetic, Textile, Printing, Toiletries Paper, Tanneries, Petroleum (Oil Drilling), Industrial Explosives, etc.
