Guar Gum: Powder
Guar gum, also called guaran, is a galactomannan polysaccharide extracted from guar beans that has thickening and stabilizing properties. The guar seeds are mechanically dehusked, hydrated, milled and screened according to application. It is typically a free-flowing, pale, off-white-colored, coarse to fine ground powder and is easily soluble in water and has a natural ability to bind with water molecules. Due to its thickening property, it is useful in several industries (including industrial explosives), food processing, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paper and textile applications.
